
Make sure to follow the Tread Lightly principles when out in the bush.
They are:
- Take out what you take in. Even clean up the mess of others.
- Stay on formed tracks.
- Drive with minimal impact on 4WD tracks.
- Lower tyre pressures if needed
- Extinguish campfires with cold water until cold to the touch.
- Check the Fire Danger
- Are you allowed to have a fire?
- Is it a Total Fire Ban Day?
- Leave no trace of your visit.
- Respect our flora and fauna. Stop and look, but never disturb
- Be considerate of other bush users.
- Private property owners, recreational trail users, campers, and anyone enjoying outdoor activities.
- Allow others to enjoy their recreation undisturbed
- Educate yourself.
- Doing a 4WD course
- Plan your trip, need to be aware of hazards, points of interest, campsites, and expected weather conditions, etc.
